Location & Accommodation
from Flying Paradise

Area The local area is called Argolida. It has a very picturesque landscape and also the richest area of Greece for archaeological sites, over 100 within 50 km! You will be flying over some of the sites and will be passing many others. The valleys where we stay are covered in orange groves and you'll be able to pick oranges on your walks (the best you will ever taste!)

Epidavros is a quaint old fishing village in the Peloponnese situated in the S/E of Greece 1.45 hours from Athens Airport. The village has been developed by tourism but not spoiled; its income comes mainly from the orange and olives trees. It was a very important town until 500 years B.C., when part of it sank under the sea. The ruins still in very good conditions are visible from the air when landing at one of our flying sites. They are easily reached by taking canoes and the snorkeling gear (2 meter deep).

AccommodationYou will stay in a 3 star hotel, right by the sea in a really nice and quiet area with no roads nearby. The hotel has a large outdoor grassy terrace with a beach bar/restaurant. It is ideal and very safe for the kids who can play on their own. You can walk bare feet from your bedroom to go for a swim in the sea or have your breakfast on the beach by just walking across our lawn.

The beach is also the landing for one of your sites, so you can order your fresh orange juice while still in your harness and the non-flyers can be sitting at the bar, watching the pilots coming to land.

The lawn in front of the hotel is perfect for packing the glider. It is a 20 minute walk to the village or 10 minutes with one of our bikes. You can also take one of the canoe and paddle to the harbor (30')!
